The inspiration for starting this business came from my local festival. There, I witnessed a culture and tradition that has been passed down through generations. Every time I encountered the unique charm of this heritage, I began to wonder, “Is it possible to shape something that is unique to this place and share it with the world?” I thought that by combining traditional Japanese patterns with steelworking techniques used in the festival, we could create truly unique products that no one else could replicate. The material of steel has both strength and flexibility, and it holds the potential to be passed down through time. Meanwhile, Japanese patterns carry the beauty and meaning cultivated through a long history. By fusing these two elements, we aim to create products that are not just decorative items, but true “crystallizations of culture and craftsmanship.” What we value most is “pride.” It is the pride of craftsmanship, the pride of our community, and the pride of Japan. By leveraging local techniques and traditions, we strive to create designs that harmonize with modern lifestyles and aim to produce products from Tonami, Toyama Prefecture, that can resonate globally.
